Mamuka Khazaradze was summoned by the Georgian Dream-controlled parliamentary investigative commission, which he refused to attend. On 23 June 2025, he was sentenced to eight months. On 5 September 2025, he and Badri Japaridze were pardoned by President Kavelashvili. In November 2025, a separate case was opened charging him with sabotage. Bail was set at 1 million GEL.
