Case Details
Tamar Lortkipanidze, 48, was arrested for climbing onto the roof of a police patrol car and blocking traffic during a rally on Rustaveli Avenue on October 22, 2025. Prosecutors also allege she struck a taxi driver in the face and damaged the police vehicle (estimated 3,300 GEL). During a December court hearing, she fell ill and was taken to hospital. Her lawyer cited deteriorating health and complaints about detention conditions.
