Case Details
Tornike Toshkhua and Mindia Shervashidze are accused of attacking Beka Gotsiridze on August 1. Gotsiridze had threatened protest participants, then came to Rustaveli Avenue and insulted them. A knife fell from his pocket. Despite this, police did not arrest Gotsiridze. Two weeks later, Toshkhua and Shervashidze were arrested for fending off the armed aggressor. On September 5, Toshkhua marked the 21st day of his hunger strike.
